07 Dec Rolling is for everyone!
Children love to roll. You may even see children rolling around of the floor before class in the lobby. As young babies, rolling was one of the first methods they used to get around. Did you realize that rolling is stimulating to the brain? When children roll, they begin to develop their vestibular system. This system provides information to the brain and body that aids in understanding the movement of our different body parts. For children to have better control of their body, they can do fun activities that involve rolling, pushing, pulling, jumping and hopping. This kind of sensory input will also help with focus, attention, and behavior. This is what we provide at gymnastics class.
